Iran attack on Israel: Many countries condemn; Iran warns the US to stay away

Tel Aviv [Israel], April 14: Iran's delegation to the United Nations today announced this military action in response to Israel's attack on Tehran's diplomatic building in Damascus (Syria).
"This action can be considered the end. But if the Israeli regime makes more mistakes, Iran 's reaction will be significantly more serious," the Iranian side emphasized, according to Reuters on April 14.
In addition, Iran also sent a warning to parties supporting Israel that "this is a conflict between Iran and Israel" and " America must stay away." Iran 's Fars news agency quoted a military source as reporting that the country is monitoring any action by Jordan to support Israel in this attack and warned that Jordan could become the next target.
Reuters quoted regional security sources as saying that Jordanian fighter jets intercepted and shot down dozens of Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the north and central regions of the country when the UAVs flew to Israel. .
The Jordanian army, which is located east of Israel, has been placed on high alert and radar systems are monitoring UAV activity from the direction of Iraq and Syria. Previously, Jordan closed its airspace to all incoming and outgoing aircraft as well as transit as a precaution.
US troops at an undisclosed base in the area also shot down several Iranian UAVs in Swida and Deraa provinces in southern Syria near the Jordanian border.
US National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson quoted President Joe Biden as declaring US support for Israel's security is solid. "The United States will accompany the people of Israel and support them in defending against threats from Iran," Ms. Watson emphasized.
US House Speaker Mike Johnson also voiced that the US must show its determination to support important ally Israel while the country faces an attack from Iran. He affirmed that Israel will not be alone in this.
US House Minority Leader Steve Scalise also said that the House will change the schedule to consider a bill supporting Israel and "holding Iran responsible for this unprovoked attack".
United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres condemned Iran's attack, calling it a "serious escalation" and calling on all parties to exercise maximum restraint to avoid the risk of major military confrontation on many fronts. in the Middle East, according to AFP.
The European Union (EU) and many NATO member countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, Denmark... also expressed concern and condemned Iran's actions.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak condemned "in the strongest terms the Iranian regime's reckless attack on Israel". The leader said that this action risks escalating tensions and destabilizing the region.
Mr. Sunak announced that Britain would support the security of Israel and other partners in the region including Jordan and Iraq.
The British Ministry of Defense announced that air force fighter jets in the Middle East have been mobilized and will prevent any air attacks within the scope of their mission.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also strongly condemned Iran's actions and demanded that this Muslim country and its proxy groups "immediately stop this". She affirmed Germany's solidarity for Israel at this time.
French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejoune most strongly condemned Iran's attack on Israel and criticized Tehran for taking a new step in a series of destabilizing actions, accepting the risk of military escalation.
