The US President does not support Israel's response to Iran

Washington [US], April 14: US President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Washington does not support Israel's response to Iran, and said that avoiding damage on April 14 was 'a victory'.

"You have had a victory. Accept that victory," President Biden told Prime Minister Netanyahu, according to a US official told Axios . The White House owner also made it clear that the US will not participate in any Israeli offensive campaign in response to Iran and does not support it. In response, Prime Minister Netanyahu said he understood this, according to the White House official.
Previously, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin requested Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant to notify the US before any response action.
In a statement after the call, President Biden said the US military had sent planes and warships to the area over the past week to help Israel
"I told Prime Minister Netanyahu that Israel has demonstrated an incredible ability to defend and defeat unprecedented attacks, sending a clear message to its enemies that Israel's security is not could be threatened," Mr. Biden said.
CNN quoted two US officials revealing that US forces stopped more than 70 UAVs and at least 3 ballistic missiles during the attack on April 14. The missiles were intercepted by US warships in the eastern Mediterranean. The US Navy currently has two destroyers in the area and both are equipped with guided missiles. American fighter jets also participated in supporting Israel and shot down UAVs.
In the latest announcement, Defense Minister Gallant announced that Israel had repelled the first major attack but the confrontation was not over, according to Reuters. More than 300 missiles and UAVs were launched, including from Iran, Iraq, and Yemen. The Israeli army claims to prevent 99% of threats.
